Appointment Scheduling Details
Dr. DeFrancesco is in this office to see patients currently on Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday from about 9:00am to 4:30pm. If you leave your
information and an idea of what day or time is good for you, the front
office girls can call you back to schedule (or you can call us directly
at 412-766-1500). The office is open Mon-Fri. for phone calls and
business transactions. For your convenience and to help speed up your
initial consultation visit you can download the patient forms on our
"New Patient" screen. Complete the 4 pages and bring them to your first
appointment. (See hours above.)
Insurance and Payment Options
We participate in most insurances for which we will verify benefits and
file the claims on your behalf. These include Aetna, MetLife, Delta
Dental, Guardian, United Concordia, Cigna, Highmark, Humana, Assurant,
Health America & numerous others. Currently, the few we
do not participate in are UPMC and Medicaid programs. We also honor most
Dental Discount Plans. For your convenience you may pay your co-pay &
all non-insurance covered fees by cash, check or credit card at the time
of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard & Discover cards. Special payment
plans can be set up either at our office and with offsite Dental/Medical
Finance plans like Care Credit or the Medical Bureau of Pittsburgh.
Facilities and Equipment
Our completely handicap accessible office is equipped with many
state-of-the-art features. With the use of digital radiography for the
x-rays that you may require, exposure to radiation is much greatly
reduced and the quality of the x-rays is sharply increased to aid in
accuracy of the surgery. The application of new computers and new
updated software and intra oral photography has increased the speed and
efficiency of our patient data and records keeping as well.
All x-ray equipment is registered and checked regularly by the Dept of
Environmental Protection. OSHA safety standards are strictly adhered to
and the sterile environment is tested and monitored very carefully. The
cleanliness and safety of our office is something on which we pride
ourselves.
